Nittany Valley writers are invited to read one scene or poem that they have written recently at the Nittany Valley Writers Network reading on Tuesday, December 11th. This is a great opportunity for the people who put Centre County over the 1-million word mark during National Novel Writing Month to showcase their work. All writers–including poets, novelists, memoir writers and writers of creative nonfiction–are welcome to read. The event starts at 7 pm on Tuesday, December 11th in the community room of the Schlow Centre Region Library in downtown State College.

If you are planning to read, choose a single scene that does not require extensive explanation or a single poem. Plan to read for no more than five minutes.

And of course you can just listen if you don’t have anything you want to share at this time. Spouses, NaNo moralers and cheering sections are also welcome.
