Tues 10 July – NVWN Meeting and Open-Mic Night at Webster’s –
NVWN Presents Summer Open-Mic Nights at Webster’s Bookstore Cafe, Tues
10 Jul 7:30pm. Poets, storytellers, musicians… all are welcome. Come
at 7:15 to sign up for a slot. All slots are less than 5 min, so keep it
short and sweet. Hosted by NVWN and Webster’s, emceed by NVWN’s
Walt Fillmann.

Sat 14 July – Bookfest! – Schlow Centre Region Library’s 3rd
annual Bookfest will be held Sat 14 July in conjunction with the Arts
Festival. Come on out and support local writers! To reserve a table for

Wed 18 July – NVWN Early-Risers Breakfast – Every 3rd Wed, 7-8am
at The Waffle Shop, 1610 W College Ave, State College. All are welcome –
ask for the Writers Table..

Tues 24 July – NVWN Writers Social – Every 4th Tues, 5:30-7pm at
The Autoport, 1405 S Atherton St., State College. All are welcome – ask
for the Writers Table.

New Program Chair – NVWN member Cindy Simmons has volunteered to be
Program Chair. We thank Sally Driscoll for her long and faithful
service and welcome Cindy!

Monthly Forum

Sarah Goslee’s writing challenge was a lot of fun and we continue to
talk about our current writing projects and future goals. Come share at
